The Sustainable Berks Business Network has been formally recognized as an official local network of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE), a national organization that seeks to foster vibrant local economies by focusing on the growth potential of local and green businesses. The SBBN now joins the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia and the Susquehanna Sustainable Business Network in strengthening the position of the Southeastern PA region as a hub of sustainable enterprise.

The SBBN will benefit from the expertise of the BALLE organization and peer networks across the U.S. as it works to develop a regenerative and resilient Greater Reading regional economy. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements and consider joining us today to help us continue to grow a sustainable Berks!

After an unfortunately long and unexpected delay, the Sustainable Berks Business Network website is finally being released in time for the kick-off! Although only basic functionality and content is available at this point, we have opened up member registrations as the primary objective and will continue to enable additional features soon.

We've "kicked the tires" of the user registration process several times, but if you still experience a problem during registration please let us know immediately. After registering, be on the lookout for additional information next week on the upcoming process to enable full site access, especially for member organizations wishing to create a directory listing.
