What types and benefits of memberships are available?

Membership is available for both individuals and organizations at the following levels.

What are the qualifications for membership?

For individual memberships, there is no formal requirements. If you are registering on behalf of a nonprofit or government, you must operate primarily in the Berks county region. For business and sponsor organizations, you must answer yes to the following criteria to be eligible:

• Is your business privately held (not publicly traded)?

• Do the business owners, totaling greater than 50% of the business ownership, live within 50 miles of the place of business?
• Is your business located within the Greater Reading region, with no corporate or national headquarters out-of-state?
• Can your business make independent decisions regarding the name and look of your business, as well as all business purchasing, practices and distribution?
• Do you pay all your own marketing, rent and other business expenses (without assistance from a corporate headquarters)?

What if my business doesn't qualify?

If you cannot meet the above qualifications, you may still join as an individual to participate in and benefit from network involvement. If you need assistance with membership, please feel free to contact us.
