New Creation CDC

Background

The New Creation Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Reading, PA. Established in 1999, its mission has been to serve the City of Reading as a catalyst for community and economic development initiatives. The Sustainable Berks Business Network is a program of the New Creations CDC.

Mission Statement

To provide community and economic development programs and services for low-income families in the Reading community (as stated in Article II of the Corporation By-Laws)

Vision Statement

The quality of life for low-income families in the City of Reading will be improved through the empowerment and involvement of residents, neighborhood organizations, faith-based partners, and other stakeholders in the revitalization of the city. NCCDC will be recognized as a key facilitator/catalyst for leveraging resources to foster community and economic development initiatives.
